01What can SPIRITT do with AssemblyAI recordings?+
SPIRITT can upload audio or video, submit pre-recorded transcription from reachable media URLs, retrieve processing states and results, and work with timestamped sentence or paragraph segments. It can also search completed transcripts for words or phrases and export SRT or WebVTT subtitles.
02What access and media do I need to provide?+
Connect AssemblyAI with an API key and provide media files or reachable media URLs. Uploaded files receive a project-private URL that can be used for transcription submission. Connect any separate storage or destination apps the mission needs as well.
03Can SPIRITT keep a transcription workflow running?+
Yes. SPIRITT can maintain a submission queue, track transcript IDs through asynchronous processing, retrieve completed results, and route failures for recovery. AssemblyAI's transcript listing covers the last 90 days, so a longer-running library needs its own index rather than relying on that list as a complete archive.
04Where can transcript results go after processing?+
SPIRITT can save subtitle files to Google Drive, organize timestamped research in Notion, create Asana tasks from recorded commitments, or send processing exceptions to Slack. Source references can travel with those outputs so teams can check the recording behind a conclusion or task.

06Does redacted audio retrieval also delete the original content?+
No. Redacted audio retrieval requires transcripts submitted with both text and audio PII redaction enabled. It checks processing status and returns a short-lived download URL when ready. Transcript content deletion is a separate irreversible action that leaves a tombstone. Neither operation should be treated as deleting source recordings or copies stored in other systems.
