Questions

Blackboard, with SPIRITT.

01What Blackboard work can SPIRITT carry out?+
SPIRITT can create and copy courses, update course information, publish announcements and messages, create assignments and rubrics, configure adaptive release, and work with gradebook and attendance records. Missions can combine these actions into a complete term-launch or teaching-support operation.
02What access does a Blackboard mission need?+
Connect an authorized Blackboard account with permissions for the target courses and actions. Reading a gradebook, changing attendance, and managing institutional hierarchy are different operations and may require different access. Scope student records to the staff and courses involved in the mission.
03Can SPIRITT maintain recurring attendance and grade workflows?+
Yes. It can retrieve meeting attendance and course grades, compare them with instructor-certified inputs, update authorized discrepancies, and retrieve records for verification. Scheduled reconciliation can maintain a private correction log while keeping ambiguous matches out of automatic updates.
04How can Blackboard work connect to faculty tools?+
Google Sheets can supply section plans and certified attendance registers, Google Docs can hold assignment briefs, and Google Drive can organize course attachments. SPIRITT can execute the corresponding Blackboard changes and coordinate completion or unresolved inputs through Gmail or Microsoft Teams.
05Can SPIRITT build a custom course operations app?+
Yes. Useful builds include a term-launch register, a restricted advising dashboard using gradebook and attendance records, or a faculty materials library indexed to Blackboard attachments. Blackboard remains the course system while the custom app supplies the operational views and follow-through.
06Does this integration provide Anthology Adopt walkthroughs?+
The supported actions here operate on Blackboard Learn courses, content, gradebooks, attendance, and related records. They do not establish Anthology Adopt usage analytics or Pendo-powered walkthrough creation. Course announcements and course messages are available communication options, distinct from in-app tooltips or guided tours.
