Questions

Box, with SPIRITT.

01Can SPIRITT run reviews directly on Box files?+
Yes. SPIRITT can create file tasks, assign reviewers, retrieve tasks and assignment outcomes, and read or add file comments. It can use those native records to follow unresolved questions and confirm required reviews. Airtable can provide a consolidated interface without replacing Box as the source of review status.
02Can it verify a Box metadata rollout?+
Yes. SPIRITT can extract document facts, create templates, and apply metadata instances to files and folders. Extracted values must match the template's fields and types. After applying a cascade policy, it can enumerate scoped folders and descendants, retrieve metadata instances, compare them with the intended rules, and repair exceptions within the authorized scope.
03Which Box permissions and features are required?+
The connected account must have access to the target content and permission for each operation. Classification is an enterprise feature, and actions such as creating enterprise groups require administrator permissions. Missions using Box AI, Box Sign, retention, or legal holds also depend on those capabilities being available to the account.
04Can Box Sign connect agreement completion to other tools?+
Yes. SPIRITT can retrieve templates, create Box Sign requests, check request details, and resend pending requests. A confirmed signing outcome can update a HubSpot record or start an Asana delivery project. Recipients perform their own signing; SPIRITT operates the preparation, follow-up, and handoff.
05What can SPIRITT build beyond a document summary?+
A contract register can combine extracted metadata, source file links, and notice deadlines to prioritize renewal decisions. A visual catalog can use Box file details and thumbnails. A review desk can bring Box tasks, assignment outcomes, and comments into one working interface, while an intake system routes missing supplier evidence to assigned reviewers.
06How do classifications, retention, and legal holds differ?+
Classifications label content; retention policies govern how long content is retained; legal holds preserve content for a legal scope. SPIRITT can apply approved policies, retrieve files under retention, and review files and previous versions associated with legal-hold assignments. It can reconcile returned content against the requested scope, separating verified preservation from accepted assignments and unresolved verification gaps. Labels alone do not establish retention or preservation.
