Convex
Give your backend an operator

SPIRITT provisions Convex environments and builds useful interfaces around your existing query functions. Give backend requests, private app data and deployment exceptions an owner who carries the work through.

What you can do with Convex.

  • Environments with a purpose

Create projects and deployments against your team's available regions and classes, then deliver an exact environment handoff.

  • Private data, useful interfaces

Use existing Convex query functions to build dashboards and internal tools around the data your application already owns.

  • An accountable backend estate

Track deployment settings, log destinations and key metadata without copying administrative credentials into reports.

Get started in three steps.

01

Open your workspace

Start a SPIRITT workspace for environment operations with Convex.

A workspace connected to software projects
02

Connect Convex

Connect your Convex account and choose the account access your mission needs. Keep other connected apps scoped to the same work.

03

Delegate an outcome

Describe the result, the Convex records to use, and the rules for changes or delivery. SPIRITT builds the workflow and follows the result through.

Questions

Convex, with SPIRITT.

01Can SPIRITT build apps on my Convex data?+
Yes. Existing query functions can feed private consoles, exception queues and scheduled workflows. Supply the function names and expected arguments so the interface uses your application's real contract.
02Can it create projects and deployments?+
Yes. SPIRITT can create projects and deployments, inspect available regions and classes, and return an environment handoff with identifiers and configuration.
03Does creating a deployment upload my application code?+
No. Environment provisioning and function deployment are separate. SPIRITT can coordinate the repository and CLI handoff, while the connection itself does not expose arbitrary code deployment.
04Can it edit database records directly?+
The evidenced data operation executes query functions in batches. Record mutations need a separate authorized implementation, while dashboards and downstream actions can run from those query results.
05How are deploy keys handled?+
Deploy keys grant administrative deployment access. SPIRITT can create and inventory them for an authorized mission, keeping secret values in approved secret storage rather than reports.
06Can it remove old environments?+
Yes, with explicit deployment or project targets and retention approval. Deletion destroys associated data, so retirement follows a verified inventory rather than a name-based guess.
