DevCycle
Give every flag a clear owner

SPIRITT connects DevCycle configuration to the people shipping your product. Build release views, maintain variable definitions, and move unresolved rollout questions into owned work.

What you can do with DevCycle.

  • Configuration you can explain

Bring projects, environments, features, and audiences into one navigable release view.

  • Variables with intent

Create typed variables and maintain names, descriptions, tags, and validation rules against your engineering standard.

  • Fewer release surprises

Compare environment configurations and coordinate fixes with the engineers who own the application.

Get started in three steps.

01

Open your workspace

Start a SPIRITT workspace for feature readiness and variable lifecycle work.

A workspace connected to software projects
02

Connect DevCycle

Connect DevCycle with access to the account and records your mission needs. Add the companion apps you want SPIRITT to work across.

03

Delegate an outcome

Describe the result, owners, and approval rules. SPIRITT builds and runs the workflow around your DevCycle data.

Questions

DevCycle, with SPIRITT.

01Can SPIRITT change feature targeting?+
It can inspect feature targeting across environments and turn differences into owned release work. The connected actions here change variable definitions, not feature targeting or rollout percentages.
02Which variable properties can it maintain?+
Names, keys, descriptions, tags, types, persistence, and validation schemas are available for supported variable updates. SPIRITT checks the current definition and the intended application impact before changing them.
03How does a rollout dashboard stay current?+
SPIRITT can schedule reads of projects, features, environments, and configurations, then refresh its own app and route differences to Slack or Linear. That is scheduled observation rather than a native DevCycle trigger.
04Can it tell us what a customer actually saw?+
Audience and configuration views explain setup. They do not establish an individual runtime evaluation result; application telemetry is needed for that question.
05What access should we connect?+
Use a DevCycle Management service account scoped to the projects and operations needed. Environment inventory does not need SDK secrets in the resulting dashboard.
06Can it remove old variables safely?+
SPIRITT can inspect definitions, assemble code-removal evidence from GitHub, and delete exact variables after approval. Deletion is permanent, so it keeps the retirement decision separate from the inventory review.
