01Can SPIRITT recover a network device?+
It can inspect device capabilities and request supported power or reboot actions with approval. Those actions are asynchronous; SPIRITT checks subsequent device state and uptime before claiming recovery.
02Does applying a profile configure every device?+
Not necessarily. Profile application has per-device outcomes, including failures, withheld permissions, and pending results. Profiles containing credentials can overwrite existing credentials, so their contents are checked first.
03Can it build custom monitoring drivers?+
Yes. Drivers are inspected, saved, checked for collector compatibility, and tested for every required action before attachment. A dry run still talks to the real device, so it needs the same operational authority.
04Is resolving an alert the same as acknowledging it?+
No. Domotz alert resolution is irreversible and has no intermediate acknowledgment state. SPIRITT tracks investigation externally and resolves exact incidents only when the approved recovery criteria are met.
05How do I connect Domotz to SPIRITT?+
