Questions

FreshBooks, with SPIRITT.

01Which FreshBooks records can SPIRITT work with?+
SPIRITT can list businesses, clients, projects, and journal entries, and retrieve staff identities and business memberships. It can also create, list, update, verify, and delete webhook callbacks. These capabilities support delivery coordination, accounting review packs, and custom operations tools.
02How is access scoped across FreshBooks businesses?+
The connection uses your authorized FreshBooks access. SPIRITT can list businesses associated with the connected user; you select the businesses included in the mission. Client and project records can stay separated by business, while business-user membership supports comparison with your approved staff register.
03Can it keep client and project workflows current?+
Yes. Scheduled retrievals can refresh clients and projects, compare snapshots, and advance tasks in connected tools. Webhook management is also available for event selections established for your account and mission. A scheduled refresh does not depend on assuming that a particular payment event or payload is available.
04Can this connection create invoices or collect payments?+
The available actions do not create invoices, collect payments, or edit journal entries. Client retrieval also does not establish invoice aging or outstanding balances. A collections workflow can instead use an explicitly supplied finance ledger for amounts and payment status, FreshBooks for client references, and Gmail for outreach.
05What custom app can SPIRITT build around these records?+
A delivery desk can combine FreshBooks clients and projects with owner assignments and scope from your engagement register. A pricing calculator can use FreshBooks project references while taking rates, budgets, and effort estimates from your supplied planning data. Both can keep their own workflow history without altering accounting records.
06How does this differ from exporting FreshBooks records?+
An export captures records at one point in time. SPIRITT can maintain mappings to HubSpot, launch Asana projects from approved engagements, refresh the operations view, and deliver accountant packs in Google Drive. The workflow carries records into assigned work and tracks exceptions rather than ending with a downloaded file.
