Google BigQuery
From tables to action

SPIRITT builds and runs systems around your BigQuery warehouse. Delegate data loading, SQL analysis, quality checks, and custom apps that turn query results into work your team can finish.

What you can do with Google BigQuery.

  • Answers with evidence

Get business decisions backed by inspected table schemas, explicit SQL definitions, and query results your team can trace.

  • Reliable data operations

Keep loads and validation checks moving with tracked job status, reconciled row counts, and clear handling of failed records.

  • Apps on your warehouse

Turn BigQuery results into purpose-built dashboards and decision tools, with recurring refreshes and follow-through in connected apps.

Get started in three steps.

01

Open your workspace

Create a SPIRITT workspace for the analytics, data operations, or internal tools you want to run.

A workspace connected to structured data
02

Connect Google BigQuery

Connect through your Google account or a Google service account with access to the projects, datasets, and job operations your mission needs.

03

Delegate an outcome

Give SPIRITT the source tables, business rules, and finished outcome. It builds the system, executes jobs, and maintains the workflow.

Questions

Google BigQuery, with SPIRITT.

01What can SPIRITT do directly in Google BigQuery?+
SPIRITT can inspect projects, datasets, schemas, and rows; run SQL; create datasets, tables, and routines; insert records; and launch query, load, extract, or copy jobs. It can retrieve results and job statistics, update supported resources, and request cancellation of running jobs.
02How does access work across projects and datasets?+
You can connect with a Google account or a Google service account. Its granted permissions determine which resources SPIRITT can inspect and which jobs or changes it can execute. Dataset locations also matter when planning jobs; seeing a project does not imply access to every table.
03Can SPIRITT keep ingestion and validation running?+
Yes. SPIRITT can schedule workflows that upload files through load jobs, insert records, run validation SQL, and store check results. It tracks job completion and errors before treating a batch as successful, and can maintain a processed-file ledger to avoid blindly repeating loads.
04How can warehouse results drive work in other tools?+
SPIRITT can send BigQuery exceptions to Linear or Jira, publish reconciliations in Google Sheets, and notify owners through Slack. Connected source systems can supply comparison data, such as Stripe invoices, while BigQuery holds the queryable reconciliation results.
05What custom apps can it build on BigQuery?+
SPIRITT can build margin explorers, experiment decision tools, warehouse catalogs, and job consoles. These apps can expose query results, metric definitions, refresh status, and exception workflows without making every business user write SQL or navigate warehouse resources.
06How is this different from a scheduled SQL query?+
A scheduled query executes SQL on a timetable. SPIRITT can also inspect schemas, load source files, track asynchronous jobs, investigate failed checks, build a user interface, and coordinate resolution in other apps. It operates the work surrounding the query, not just the query itself.
