Questions

Harvest, with SPIRITT.

01What can SPIRITT create and maintain in Harvest?+
SPIRITT can create and update clients, contacts, projects, reusable tasks, time entries, expenses, estimates, and invoices. It can also send estimate and invoice messages and record invoice payments, combining those actions into a complete project billing workflow.
02What Harvest access does a mission need?+
Connect a Harvest account with permission to work on the relevant records. Time-entry maintenance needs access to the team's entries and projects; billing missions also need the relevant client and invoice access. Existing Harvest permissions govern what SPIRITT can execute.
03Can it run a recurring billing close?+
Yes. SPIRITT can regularly retrieve time entries and invoices, apply your billing rules, resolve exceptions with owners, create invoices, and send invoice messages. A billing register can track source entries and invoice IDs so later runs do not bill the same work twice.
04How can Harvest work with our delivery and finance tools?+
Asana can supply delivery context while contributors provide actual hours for Harvest entries. Google Sheets can hold agreed rates and verified bank receipts, and Slack can carry questions to project owners. SPIRITT coordinates those inputs with Harvest record creation and corrections.
05What custom apps can SPIRITT build around Harvest?+
Useful builds include an expense intake app, an internal invoice query desk, and a project economics dashboard. These can use Harvest project, time-entry, invoice, and payment records while maintaining submission histories, finance assumptions, or exception queues outside Harvest.
06Does recording a Harvest payment charge the client?+
No. Creating an invoice payment records money received against an existing invoice; it is not a charge or bank transfer. SPIRITT can reconcile verified receipt data with Harvest payments and record missing matches without treating an invoice message or payment record as proof of a new transaction.
