01Do I need a Linkup account or API key?+
No. No API needed, pay per usage. SPIRITT manages the Linkup access, so you never create a Linkup account, buy a plan, or paste credentials. Describe the outcome in your workspace and SPIRITT makes the calls on your behalf.
02What can SPIRITT do with Linkup?+
SPIRITT can search the open web and get ranked sources, a sourced answer or structured JSON, fetch a public HTML page or PDF as clean Markdown, extract typed JSON from a page using a schema you define, and run asynchronous multi-source research tasks that return cited results.
03How fresh and complete is the information?+
Linkup works on the public web, so results reflect what is published and reachable at query time. Pages behind logins or blocked to crawlers may not be available. Deep research runs asynchronously, and SPIRITT checks the task until the cited result is ready.
04How is Linkup usage billed?+
Usage is metered per call and drawn from your workspace credits, so it is not free or unlimited. Failed provider calls are not billed. Deep research tasks use more than a single search, so SPIRITT matches the method to the question. You can ask SPIRITT to size a job before it runs at scale.
05How does SPIRITT turn research into working systems?+
SPIRITT stores results with their sources, schedules recurring searches, compares new findings with earlier ones, and pushes changes into your CRM, docs, issue tracker or dashboards. It can also build and deploy apps powered by Linkup search.
06Can I control the shape of the output?+
Yes. Searches can return structured JSON, and page extraction follows a schema you supply, so SPIRITT can write fields straight into databases, spreadsheets or CRM properties instead of free text.
