Questions

Marketstack, with SPIRITT.

01Do I need a Marketstack account or API key?+
No. No API needed, pay per usage. SPIRITT manages the Marketstack access, so you never create a Marketstack account, buy a plan, or paste credentials. Describe the outcome in your workspace and SPIRITT makes the calls on your behalf.
02What market data can SPIRITT pull from Marketstack?+
SPIRITT can pull end-of-day open, high, low, close and volume with adjusted values and date ranges, the latest closing bar, intraday bars from hourly down to one minute, dividend history with ex-dates and amounts, split history with ratios, ticker search across 300,000+ symbols, and a directory of covered exchanges with MIC codes, countries and timezones.
03Is the data real-time?+
No. End-of-day data updates after each market closes, and intraday bars are delayed rather than real-time. It suits dashboards, research, reporting and alerts, not live trading or order execution.
04Which markets are covered?+
Marketstack covers more than 70 exchanges worldwide. Coverage and history depth vary by exchange and ticker, so SPIRITT resolves each symbol with ticker search and checks the data it gets back before building on it.
05How is Marketstack usage billed?+
Usage is metered per call and drawn from your workspace credits, so it is not free or unlimited. Failed provider calls are not billed. You can ask SPIRITT to size a job before it runs at scale.
06How does SPIRITT turn market data into working systems?+
SPIRITT builds and runs the whole thing: nightly data loads, portfolio dashboards, dividend calendars, backtests, CRM enrichment and alerts in your chat tools, with monitoring so failed updates are caught and retried.
