No. No API needed, pay per usage. SPIRITT holds the Octen access, so you can search the web, track news, and extract pages from your workspace without an Octen account or credentials.
02What can SPIRITT do with Octen?+
SPIRITT can search the live web for ranked pages with highlights and optional full content, run multi-angle search that generates subqueries from a question and groups results, search recent news articles with related subject groups, and extract clean content or highlights from up to twenty URLs per request.
03How does billing work?+
Usage is metered per call and paid from your workspace credits. It is not free or unlimited: each search or extraction counts against your balance. Failed provider calls are not billed.
04How fresh and complete are the results?+
Octen searches the live web and recent news, so results reflect what is indexed at the time of the search. Some pages block extraction or sit behind logins, and each URL returns its own status. SPIRITT cites its sources and records pages it could not read.
05How is multi-angle search different from a normal search?+
Multi-angle search turns one question into several subqueries and returns ranked results grouped by each one. It suits broad research questions, while a normal search is better for a specific lookup. SPIRITT picks the right mode for each step.
