What you can do with Personio.

  • Plan with real availability

Combine employment working hours with recorded absences to spot coverage gaps before assigning the next week's work.

  • Account for project time

Match attendance periods to Personio time-tracking projects and surface unassigned time, status exceptions, and budget variance.

  • Close HR handoff gaps

Use employee attributes and document metadata to organize onboarding checks and route missing information to the right HR owner.

Questions

Personio, with SPIRITT.

01Which Personio records can SPIRITT use?+
SPIRITT can read person summaries, employee records with available standard or custom attributes, individual employment records, attendance periods, absence periods and types, time-tracking projects, document categories, and document metadata. These support staffing tools, reconciliation workflows, and HR follow-through.
02What access does a Personio mission need?+
Use an authorized Personio connection with access to the records the mission requires. The readable employee attribute list determines which standard and custom fields are available. A directory can use a narrow field allowlist, while coverage planning also needs employment and absence data.
03Can it change employee records or approve leave?+
The available Personio connection reads records; it does not edit employment details, approve absence requests, or change attendance. SPIRITT can build a complete exception workflow in Asana or Slack, route corrections to HR, and recheck Personio to confirm that the source records changed.
04Can SPIRITT check employee documents?+
It can list document categories and metadata for an individual owner, with category and creation-date filters. That supports checking whether a required category has a matching record. This access does not download files or establish whether their contents are correct, signed, or legally valid.
05What can it build across Personio and other tools?+
SPIRITT can build a private coverage planner, employee directory, document coverage tracker, or project-hours reconciliation dashboard. Google Sheets can hold budget assumptions, Asana can carry exception tasks, Slack can coordinate managers, and Google Calendar can display restricted availability views.
06How are Personio projects different from task-management projects?+
The available Personio projects organize time tracking and expose fields such as codes, status, and hierarchy. Attendance periods can be filtered by project for hours reconciliation. Operational checklists and task assignments belong in a connected tool such as Asana, rather than being inferred from Personio's project records.
