01Do I need a Spider account or API key?+
No. No API needed, pay per usage. SPIRITT manages Spider access for you, so you can start from your workspace without creating a Spider account or adding any credentials.
02What can SPIRITT do with Spider?+
Through this managed capability, SPIRITT uses Spider to search the open web and return ranked results for a query. It runs those searches at the volume and schedule your workflow needs, dedupes and scores the results, and routes them into your apps.
03Does this include Spider's crawling and scraping?+
No. The managed capability covers Spider web search only. Results are returned without fetching each page's full content, so these calls do not crawl sites or convert pages to Markdown. When a workflow needs page content, SPIRITT can pair the search with another web data integration.
04How fresh and complete are the results?+
Searches run when called, so results reflect what ranks for that query at that moment. Ordering and coverage vary by query and change over time, and a missing result doesn't prove a page doesn't exist. SPIRITT stores result history so you can see what changed.
05How does SPIRITT turn search results into working systems?+
SPIRITT builds the workflow around each search: scheduled queries, deduplication, scoring, storage, and delivery. Results land as CRM records, sheet rows, Notion pages, or Slack alerts, and SPIRITT keeps the searches running.
06How is usage billed?+
Usage is metered per call and paid from your workspace credits. It is not free or unlimited. Failed provider calls are not billed, and SPIRITT can tune scope and schedules so usage stays predictable.
