Square operations
Beyond the counter

SPIRITT runs the work behind your Square sales: reconciling payments, maintaining stock, updating bookings, and resolving exceptions. Give every location a coordinated operation, not another spreadsheet to maintain.

Questions

Square, with SPIRITT.

01What can SPIRITT do inside Square?+
SPIRITT can create and update orders, maintain catalog objects and customer profiles, apply inventory counts and adjustments, and update existing bookings. It can also issue refunds and upload and submit dispute evidence within the authority and access you provide.
02What access does a Square mission need?+
Connect Square and scope the mission to the relevant locations and records. Payment reconciliation needs payment and order access; stock counting needs catalog and inventory access. Refunds, catalog changes, and booking updates require permission for those actions, not just visibility into the records.
03Can it run daily operations across multiple locations?+
Yes. SPIRITT can list Square locations, search orders across locations, retrieve payments by location and time range, and compare inventory counts for specified products and stores. It can run scheduled close and replenishment workflows while keeping each location's totals and exceptions separate.
04How does Square work with my other connected apps?+
Google Sheets can supply stock thresholds, approved prices, or close figures. Gmail can carry invoice reminders and appointment confirmations, while Slack and Asana route discrepancies and fulfillment work. Square remains the source for the orders, payments, and inventory records used in those workflows.
05What custom tools can SPIRITT build around Square?+
Useful builds include a location-based stock count app, a special order desk with pricing previews, and a subscription service desk combining customers and invoices. These give staff focused interfaces while using supported Square actions to keep the underlying operational records current.
06Does creating a Square order also charge the customer?+
No. Pricing calculation, order creation, and payment completion are distinct actions. SPIRITT can preview pricing without creating an order, create an order with fulfillment details, and pay an existing order using approved payments. Creating the order alone does not collect money.
