01What can SPIRITT do through a Telegram bot?+
SPIRITT can receive incoming updates, send text, documents, photos, locations, and native polls, forward eligible messages, and set bot commands. It can also answer inline-keyboard callback queries, edit bot-authored text, inspect chat details and roles, and perform permitted message deletion or primary invite-link replacement.
02What access does my bot need?+
Connect with a Telegram bot token and provide the target chats. The bot needs membership and posting permission for groups or channels where it sends messages. Administrator access is required for actions such as retrieving member counts and replacing a primary invite link. SPIRITT can inspect the bot's member status to check access.
03Can it read my full Telegram history or personal inbox?+
No. This connection operates as your bot, not as your personal Telegram account. Incoming messages come through updates available to that bot. The chat-history action filters those updates by chat; it does not provide unrestricted access to an entire conversation archive or your personal inbox.
04Can Telegram requests become work in other systems?+
Yes. SPIRITT can turn incoming bot messages into Asana tasks or HubSpot intake records, use Google Sheets for routing, and send approved Google Drive documents back into Telegram. A request ledger connects chat and message references to the external records so results can return to the right conversation.
05What custom systems can SPIRITT build around Telegram?+
Useful builds include a support desk with a request dashboard, a field dispatch system that sends map locations, and a document delivery bot backed by an approved resource library. For named participation in team decisions, a separate bot-reply ledger can track individual responses without assuming a native poll reveals voter identities.
06Can it update or remove any message in a group?+
Text editing is limited to messages authored by the bot. Deletion has Telegram-specific restrictions, including a 48-hour limit for group messages, and depends on applicable permissions. Saving the bot's sent-message references lets SPIRITT maintain a current status post without treating other participants' messages as editable records.
