What you can do with Todoist.

  • A usable task list

Route incoming tasks into the right projects and sections, preserve their context, and turn vague entries into concrete next actions.

  • Repeatable delivery

Launch projects from Todoist templates, create tasks in bulk, and keep execution notes attached to the work they explain.

  • Plans grounded in reality

Use incomplete tasks, completed work, and activity history to spot overloaded plans and make explicit choices about what happens next.

Questions

Todoist, with SPIRITT.

01Which Todoist objects can SPIRITT work with?+
SPIRITT can create and update projects, sections, tasks, labels, and comments. It can also create tasks in bulk, move tasks between projects or sections, reorder tasks, complete or reopen work, and archive or restore projects.
02What access does SPIRITT need to shared projects?+
Connect the Todoist account that can access the intended projects. SPIRITT can inspect project collaborators and available project roles; actual changes remain subject to that account's permissions. It can also invite collaborators by email when sharing a project is part of your mission.
03Can it run a review that includes completed work?+
Yes. Todoist provides separate access to incomplete tasks and completed-task history, including completion-date windows. SPIRITT can combine these with activity logs and comments to distinguish finished work from outstanding commitments and maintain a scheduled weekly review.
04How can Todoist work with email, meetings, and Slack?+
SPIRITT can turn supplied meeting notes into Todoist tasks, use connected Gmail for missing-input follow-ups, and coordinate blockers through Slack. Task comments retain source links and decisions so the conversation stays connected to the action rather than becoming another detached checklist.
05What custom systems can SPIRITT build around Todoist?+
Useful builds include a capacity-aware daily planner, a request portal that creates tasks, and an onboarding launcher that populates projects from templates. Todoist remains the task record while the custom app supplies intake forms, planning rules, and focused status views.
06How is this different from using Quick Add or a project template?+
Quick Add captures tasks from natural language, while Todoist templates reproduce project structure. SPIRITT can use those capabilities within a larger operation: adapt a checklist to a client brief, collect missing inputs, maintain task context, and verify the evidence needed to complete work.
