What you can do with Uploadcare.

  • Assets enter a real library

Import approved public URLs, check upload completion, and retain the files your team needs.

  • Metadata makes files usable

Maintain asset context, build file groups, and give teams searchable delivery views.

  • Processing reaches an outcome

Track supported scans and file events, coordinate failures, and verify the resulting asset state.

Questions

Uploadcare, with SPIRITT.

01Can SPIRITT import existing media?+
Yes. SPIRITT imports a public URL, checks task completion, and resolves the file UUID separately using a unique controlled filename and verified file-list match. It then retrieves file details and stores accepted assets. An upload-task token is not a file UUID.
02Can it keep the original brand geometry?+
Yes. Asset workflows can preserve original file bytes and identifiers, changing only approved metadata or delivery transforms. They do not need generated logo replacements or added backplates.
03Can it start every image-processing add-on?+
Not every status action has a matching start action here. ClamAV scanning can be initiated; background-removal and recognition status can be checked for existing jobs without promising unsupported initiation.
04Does creating a file group duplicate the files?+
No. It groups already uploaded files. Deleting the group removes that organization layer, not the files themselves.
05Can it upload a large file completely through multipart setup?+
Multipart start returns a session and presigned part URLs. That alone is not a completed upload; remaining transfer and completion work needs a supported path before the file can be claimed ready.
06Does file deletion immediately erase every cached copy?+
No. Deleted files may remain in CDN cache. SPIRITT reports that distinction and verifies the storage action without claiming instant removal from every delivery location.
