01Can SPIRITT reduce cloud resources directly through Vantage?+
It can inspect resource-level recommendations and turn them into owned engineering work. Changing cloud infrastructure requires a separately authorized provider connection and a reviewed execution plan.
02What is the difference between alerts and report delivery?+
Cost alerts watch report spend thresholds, budget alerts watch budget percentages, and report notifications deliver scheduled summaries. SPIRITT uses the right object for the outcome rather than treating them as interchangeable.
03Can it change cost allocation?+
Yes. Virtual tags and billing rules can maintain approved allocation logic in Vantage. That does not automatically edit resource tags or invoices in the underlying cloud provider.
04Are all forecast tools available on every account?+
Scenario Models and associated report forecasts require Enterprise entitlement. SPIRITT checks access before building that workflow and keeps forecast assumptions separate from historical costs.
05Can it report real savings?+
It can show recommendation estimates and compare observed cost periods. A savings claim needs a verified change, comparable scope, and an agreed baseline, not just the potential savings field.
