Zeplin handoffs.
Implementation stays connected.

SPIRITT works with Zeplin to connect design tokens, screen versions and annotations to working interfaces and coordinated engineering follow-through.

What you can do with Zeplin.

  • Build from the design system

Retrieve project colors, text styles and connected components to drive implementation work with traceable design references.

  • Keep reviews in context

Turn screen annotations into engineering tasks and update the annotation when the implementation decision is confirmed.

  • Maintain approved design changes

Update supported token fields and upload new screen versions while preserving a clear handoff history.

Get started in three steps.

01

Open your workspace

Start a SPIRITT workspace for your Zeplin workflows and the connected tools that support them.

A workspace connected to creative work
02

Connect Zeplin

Connect Zeplin with access to the records and resources your mission needs. Keep the account scope aligned with the work you delegate.

03

Delegate an outcome

Hand over a mission such as: build the design token bridge. SPIRITT builds the workflow, coordinates the connected tools, and follows through on the result.

Questions

Zeplin, with SPIRITT.

01What can I delegate with Zeplin and SPIRITT?+
Connect design tokens, screen versions and annotations to working interfaces and coordinated engineering follow-through. SPIRITT connects those capabilities to working apps, coordinated tasks and a maintained record of outcomes.
02How do I connect Zeplin?+
Open a SPIRITT workspace, connect Zeplin, and give it access to the records or resources your mission needs. Describe the outcome, the source of truth and the actions you want it to own. Existing account access determines which operations are available.
03Which tools work well alongside Zeplin?+
Useful combinations include GitHub to implement handoff changes, Linear to track screen review fixes, Slack to resolve design decisions. SPIRITT coordinates each separately connected app and keeps source references with the resulting work.
04Can it create application code?+
SPIRITT can build the application using Zeplin colors, text styles, components and screen context. Code changes happen in the working project and a separately connected repository, not as Zeplin code writes.
05Can it update design tokens?+
Yes. The actions support project color and text-style updates, plus supported styleguide token operations. SPIRITT should retrieve current token IDs and apply your approved changes.
06Can it upload a new screen version?+
Yes. It can create a version for an existing screen using a PNG or JPEG snapshot and the required project and screen IDs. This is not a claim that it can create a new screen from arbitrary design code.
