01Do I need a CoinGecko account or API key?+
No. CoinGecko is managed by SPIRITT. No API needed, pay per usage. You do not sign up for a CoinGecko plan or manage keys. Describe the coins, currencies and outcome you need and SPIRITT handles the data.
02How is CoinGecko usage billed?+
Usage is metered per call and charged to your workspace credits. It is not free or unlimited, and failed provider calls are not billed. Frequent refreshes across many coins use more calls, so SPIRITT batches requests and sets sensible schedules.
03What crypto data is available?+
Current prices for many coins at once in any supported fiat or crypto currency, OHLC candles, price, market cap and volume history, a coin's snapshot on a past date, full coin profiles, top coins by market cap, global market stats, exchanges ranked by trust score, and trending coins, NFTs and categories.
04How fresh and detailed is the history?+
Prices reflect CoinGecko's aggregated market data at the time of the call, so they can differ slightly from a single exchange. History granularity is automatic: finer intervals for short ranges and daily points for long ones, so minute-by-minute history over long periods is not available.
05Can SPIRITT trade or move funds with CoinGecko?+
No. CoinGecko provides market data, not trading or wallet access. SPIRITT uses it to price holdings, power apps and reports, and trigger alerts. Execution would need a separate exchange or wallet integration.
