Questions

Financial Datasets, with SPIRITT.

01Do I need a Financial Datasets account or API key?+
No. Managed by SPIRITT. No API needed, pay per usage. You do not need to sign up with Financial Datasets, create credentials, or connect a key. Tell SPIRITT the tickers, metrics, or questions you care about and it runs the Financial Datasets requests inside your workspace.
02What data is available?+
Standardized income statements, balance sheets, cash-flow statements, segments, historical and latest financial metrics, company KPIs, KPI guidance, non-GAAP measures, earnings and estimates, company facts, historical and latest prices, insider trades, 13F holdings, SEC filing metadata, IPO and registration filings, ETF holdings, market news, a financial screener, and major central-bank rates.
03What are the coverage limits?+
Company data covers US public companies and US stock tickers; each dataset has its own list of supported tickers or CIKs, which SPIRITT checks before running. Latest prices are the latest available for actively traded tickers, not a real-time trading feed. Interest rates cover supported major central banks.
04What does SPIRITT build with it?+
Screener apps, comps models, earnings dashboards, insider and 13F trackers, IPO monitors, ETF overlap tools, macro dashboards, backtests, and CRM enrichment for public-company accounts, all refreshed on a schedule and connected to your tools.
05How is Financial Datasets usage billed?+
Usage is metered per call and drawn from your SPIRITT workspace credits as the work runs. Managed access removes account and key setup; it is not free or unlimited, and it stays within your workspace's balance and limits. Failed provider calls are not billed.
06Is this investment advice?+
No. SPIRITT builds research tools and analysis from Financial Datasets data, but it does not provide investment advice or execute trades. Use the output as input to your own judgment and process.
