Having a Personal Assistant
Use SPIRITT to build one discreet, high-context assistant that keeps work and life on track across chat, Slack, email, calendar, desktop, and mobile.
What you can do
Turn a generic chatbot into a personal assistant who understands how you work, keeps every commitment visible, and can help wherever your day happens.
SPIRITT can build and run the whole system:
- shape a consistent personality that fits you: proactive, candid, discreet, multilingual, and willing to challenge a bad call
- capture tasks from chat, Slack, and email, then keep one persistent board for Today, Inbox, Upcoming, Waiting, and Done
- hold work and life together without flattening them, with separate areas, weekly goals, protected time, and follow-ups that resurface when due
- connect email and calendar to turn messages into tasks, organize the inbox, check availability, and prepare meetings
- run recurring routines that review new inputs, carry forward the right work, and prepare a focused daily briefing
- act as a researcher, sounding board, and operator when you need advice or execution rather than another reminder
- stay with you across a dedicated UI, chat, Slack, desktop, and mobile
The assistant can prepare proactively. Sensitive changes such as sending mail or scheduling a meeting still wait for your explicit approval.
Proof: we built one for ourselves
We built this as the personal operating system for one of SPIRITT's cofounders. The same assistant shows up in private SPIRITT chat, a dedicated My Day interface, and Slack, with one coherent personality and the right context for each place.
Every morning, a recurring routine reviews new mail and current commitments, pulls a bounded set of priorities into Today, surfaces due follow-ups, gathers company context, and prepares a concise briefing. My Day keeps the task board, weekly goals, and read-only agenda together. The assistant can also prepare inbox cleanup and scheduling actions, while every external change remains approval-gated.
The system is live. The view below recreates its structure with fictional tasks, events, and counts so no private information is exposed.

The extra
A personal assistant compounds differently from a normal productivity app. Memory preserves your preferences, priorities, boundaries, relationships, and how you like to be challenged. Recurring routines keep working when you are not looking. Integrations let the assistant prepare real work instead of merely describing it.
When a new need appears, SPIRITT can build the missing interface, tool, or workflow around the same assistant. What starts as task capture and calendar help can grow into a discreet researcher, consultant, coordinator, and operator without forcing you into a new disconnected system.
