Revenue Reconciliation

What you can do

Every deal travels through several systems. The CRM shows what was sold, the contract shows what was agreed, billing shows what was invoiced, and the bank shows what was paid. Each one looks correct on its own. The money leaks in the gaps between them.

A price increase written into year two never reaches billing. Usage passes the contracted limit and the overage is never invoiced. A one-time discount keeps renewing. Nobody complains, so nobody finds it.

SPIRITT can put a swarm of agents on every account:

  • read contracts, order forms, and amendments, including price increases, ramps, caps, and credits
  • match each contract to its CRM deal, its invoices, and the payments received
  • catch unbilled usage and overages, missed price increases, expired discounts, and duplicate charges
  • flag overbilling too, before a customer finds it in a renewal conversation
  • reconcile invoices against payments and your ledger at month end
  • explain each gap with the clause and the record behind it, and estimate the amount at stake

Connect Salesforce or HubSpot, contracts from DocuSign or PandaDoc, billing from Stripe or Recurly, and accounting from NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero, plus 1,500+ more integrations.

Example: from contract to cash, every account

Imagine a SaaS company with 800 customers on annual and usage-based plans. Agents compare every contract with what was actually billed and collected over the last year.

Instead of sampling a few accounts, they check all of them. The findings come back as a short, ranked list: customers billed at last year's price, overages that were never invoiced, a discount that should have ended, and an invoice charged twice. Each item links to the contract clause, the invoice, and the payment, with the amount to recover or correct.

Your finance team reviews and approves. Nothing is billed or credited without a person signing off.

The extra

Run it every month as part of your close, so gaps are caught while they are still easy to fix. Send each item to its owner in Slack, and keep the full trail ready for your auditors.
